A short intro to me and my blog…..

I’m currently a trainee broadcast journalist at Cardiff School of Journalism.  So for the next 9 months I will be getting to grips with the skillset needed to become an outstanding radio or TV reporter! 

My passions are travel, sport (especially skiing), politics, international relations and being as socialable as possible.  I like to think I have a ‘work hard, play hard’ ethos - encouraged by my experiences in both the Regular and Territorial Army.

I studied History and Politics at Cardiff and graduated in 2008.  Last year I lived in Athens and worked as a magazine journalist for the English section of a Greek Defence and Diplomatic publication called ‘Amyntika Themata’ or ‘Defence Matters’.

This blog will provide a platform from which I will discuss the impacts and revelations of online communication and journalism.  And until I focus on my ‘niche’ subject, I will debate and question whatever may interest me over the coming months from news in Cardiff to issues surrounding the Armed Forces, travel, the environment and general life musings.
